Sugar And Scribe in La Jolla, CA is looking for one host/hostess to join our 43 person strong team. We are located on 7660 Fay Ave, La Jolla. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged AND Loves fast paced teamwork. If you Hustle...Fast Paced...Getting Your Steps in and interacting with an amazing team you will love it. This position does receive a tip out of overall tips, however this means helping bussing, wiping and setting tables, polishing, this position is critical for the whole team to crush the brunch game. Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 7am to 2:30pm - More Shifts are available after a 30 day trail. We use OpenTable Program and do not take reservations, we are first come first serve set-up.

Walk-ins Welcome!! Ask for our Manager Allison Novasitis Thursday Friday 7am to 2pm, and Saturday & Sunday 1pm to 2:30pm.

Host / Hostess attire is personal, extremely comfortable shoes, brunch appropriate and fun! We are an upscale fast casual 160 seat brunch restaurant with a of hint sass and dash of whimsy! We recently won Best Brunch, Best Desserts and have 3 Food Network Champions Chefs!!

Responsibilities

• Using OpenTable to run the board
• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Estimating wait time for guests
